In Positively Speaking Workshops, designed for DSNMC, self-advocates are taught to use the arts to assist them with social skills, and each class will have a different theme. While self-advocates are practicing their communication skills, parents will meet in a separate room to share resources, discuss joys and concerns, and listen to guest speakers.
