Join your friends in person for our award-winning program, Positively Speaking by ArtStream.
In Positively Speaking Workshops, self-advocates are taught to use the arts to assist them with communication skills. This program is geared for self-advocates over the age of 18. Each month has a different theme.
In January, participants should come ready to party and connect with their DSNMC ArtStream friends. We will have the party that we planned ourselves in December. We will practice party talk, play a brand new “Jumanji” inspired theatre game, and much more! You do not want to miss this fun event. Dress for the red carpet! The theme is black, white and gold!
The Winter/Spring 2023 Positively Speaking Series will meet on the following Sundays, from 3:00 - 4:30 pm

April 28th
May 19th
To receive the maximum benefit of the program, registrants are highly encouraged to attend all five sessions. There will be a separate registration for each month.
Meetings will be held in the North Chevy Chase Christian Church conference room on the lower level of the church. (Enter the church from the parking lot).
While the self-advocates are working on communication skills, there will be a nearby classroom available for parents to congregate and socialize.
