Join your friends in person for our award-winning program, Positively Speaking by ArtStream.
In Positively Speaking Workshops, self-advocates are taught to use the arts to assist them with communication skills. This program is geared for self-advocates over the age of 16.
This month we will create a Play in a Day.
Did you ever wonder how an original ArtStream play begins? We will create short, devised scenes/playlets as we reveal how our shows are created. YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS LAST CLASS!
The final Winter/Spring 2023 Positively Speaking workshop will meet on Sunday May 19th, from 3:00 - 4:30 pm
Meetings will be held in the North Chevy Chase Christian Church conference room on the lower level of the church. (Enter the church from the parking lot).
While the self-advocates are working on communication skills, there will be a nearby classroom available for parents to congregate and socialize.
