Join DSNMC this October as we explore the Individualized Education Program (IEP) in a two-part virtual series led by speakers from the Parents' Place of Maryland (PPMD).

An IEP is a legally mandated plan designed to support students with disabilities in the public school system. It outlines specific goals, services, and accommodations to ensure each child receives the education they need to thrive. This DSNMC webinar will guide parents through the IEP process, helping them understand their rights and how to advocate effectively for their child. Whether you are new to the IEP system or seeking to strengthen your knowledge, this session will provide valuable tools and insights.

For over 30 years, PPMD has been a leader in supporting families of children and youth (birth to age 26) with disabilities and special health care needs across Maryland. As a non-profit, family-directed, cross-disability statewide organization, PPMD has been empowering families since its founding in 1990. Our mission is to empower families as advocates and partners in improving education and health outcomes for ALL children with disabilities and special healthcare needs
